Courses and Academic Programs
UCSC offers courses that directly address the history, politics, culture, environment and economics of South Asia. The offerings provide insight into India's past, its present and its future. In addition, a much wider range of classes incorporate a focus on South Asia as a central region within the global context and central to key emerging economic and social dynamics. These academic programs build upon the endowed chairs, research activities and events creating a dynamic cross-disciplinary connection between research, teaching and community engagement.
